POSITION SUMMARY: Creates, implements, and oversees global communications programs that effectively describe and promote XXXX products and services. Increases the generation of sales leads and ensures clear, consistent global messaging that builds awareness and clarity of XXXXXX brands. Oversees the consistent dissemination of information to XXXXXXX customers, employees, and partners.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promotes the company's products and services through effective planning, development, and implementation of global marketing communications strategies.
• Develops and implements effective global communications plans that advance business objectives. Develops and maintains effective media contacts.
• Facilitates global positioning of XXXXXXX as an industry leader/technical expert while building the awareness and clarity of the XXXXXXX and XXXXXXX Edge brands.
• Develops an effective content strategy to ensure delivery of a clear, consistent, and compelling synergistic global message of the value of partnering with XXXXXXX.
• Helps drive an understanding of the XXXXXXX Customer Intimacy Strategy on a global basis and reinforces its critical connection to the XXXXXXX Edge across global markets and regions.
• Ensures articulation of XXXXXXX’s desired image and position to all stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Works with senior global and regional staff to communicate strategic direction, programs, and decision-making.
• Directs implementation of inbound marketing strategy in global regions.
• Creates a globally effective Marketing Communications Plan that aligns budgets with global needs. This includes advertising, trade shows, and other media such as lead generation, pay-per-click, search engine optimization, social media, and related ROI reports.
• Establishes and evaluates the strategic direction of marketing communications initiatives.
• Directly manages North American internal marketing communications group and external vendors in the coordination, production, and implementation of print and electronic communications.
• Monitors and updates sales and marketing management on the promotional activities of key competitors
• Ensures clear effective communication with XXXXXXX partners and customers.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations or a related field
• 10+ years B2B marketing or corporate communications experience, in a leadership role, preferably at technology or manufacturing companies with an international presence
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and formal presentation communication skills
• Excellent computer skills, with high proficiency in MS Office and Adobe applications
• Must possess a high level of creativity and independent decision-making capability
• Some travel required for industry events, both domestically and internationally, and company-related meetings.
